Moo-croc from Ruby

I have a feeling they are the same...not sure on that...but pretty sure. I'll take some better pics of the brown moo-croc on deployment later today. I don't think it's too bad...I like it. It's stiff to start, but should soften up like my others have with wear.

Mine was from Angus.

They are all the same regardless of dealers, at least with our good dealers, I am sure there are even worse one's out there.

Quality is OK, just not nearly as close to gen as the calf.

The rep calf are very close to gen the rep croc is not.

If you like the look and cannot afford the gen croc than give it a try, it is not bad.

The main issue with it is that in your hands it feels like a calf stamped croc strap, given what it is, it is actaully a very good example of a croc stamped calf strap. Other minor issues include inaccurate stamping.

Likewise the main reason the rep calf is so good is that it is the correct material.

Pretty simple material issue really when you give it some thought.

Cheers,

M

The whole strap isn't leather at all, it's a piece of plastic. It will wear very badly, and in 3 or 4 months it will fall apart for sure (at least mine did, had to use loctite...)

I'll post pics!

Don't buy it, it simply s*cks (imo, of course).

Greetz.

I have a Breitling Moo-Croc and it's not plasticky at all. I got it from Precious Time with a Deployant.

I agree...I think it feels pretty good. My wife's gen A. Lange & Sohne black crock feels more plasticky because of the varnishing or whatever they do to add gloss.
