Distribution of the limited edition Panerai Radionmir 10 days GMT will started in August 2007. With only 250 units for the rose gold model and the same number for the white gold model they are in short supply but high demand. The unusual feature of this mechanical movement is its automatic winding with an autonomy of 10 days (240 hours). As in the case of the P.2002, such a prolonged power reserve is possible because of the innovative system with its unusual energy accumulator, consisting of three spring barrels: two of these are located one above the other, while the third is linked through a gear train which enables the power remaining to be indicated on an appropriate graduated scale The rose gold will retail for 22,000 euros (reference. As for the auto...yay...have you ever tried to wind an 8 or 10 day power reserve with a crown bow like that? Let me know how your thumb feels mate!
