Bracelet Screw Removal

southwest

Recommended Posts

I have an older 1680 that was purchased from King a few years ago by someone else. I am toying with the idea of trying to do some simple mods to it. It has a Swiss ETA 2836-2 movement. I have tried to open the case with the "tape" method and have finally relented and am going to purchase an opening tool!

I added a link to the bracelet and want to add another on the opposite side, but I have a link screw that refuses to budge. It appears someone else may have tried because the screw slot is damaged. The screw driver still has fairly good grip. If I can get it out it will have to be replaced.

Also, is there a way to tell what factory origionally manufactured the watch? "Noob, etc."

Regards, Al :)
