Any thoughts on the Longines Legend diver?

I have been into supercompressor's lately,,some of the vintage are nice but then it may need work. This has a vintage look, same case that was used in the original from the 60s but is new. I would enjoy your comments on it.

also, If anyone has a vintage super compressor I would really enjoy seeing a picture or two. thanks.

Here's an Accutron from the 70's that you don't see around:

They're powered by a 218 tuning fork.

yeah but to use the internal bezel ring you have to unscrew the crown

which would nullify the watertight integrity.

Great to see the anme Longines mentioned again...looking for a Longines watch is what brought me t5o fing the old RWGsr and collecting replicas

This diver has the look of the Longines and the spirit of an JLC...a retro-looking beauty indeed.

I've always thought that Longines is an underated watch company. They've really made some strides with their new line. BTW, that's an awsome pic of that diver.

Nice example Jimster,,,,,thanks. I agree the screw down crown for the internal bezel isn't very practical but I probably will not use this for diving.
