The Swiss government's loophole filled , loosely interpreted guidelines on what constitutes Swiss Made make the trademark almost meaningless, at least as it applies to swiss watch parts made outside of Switzerland. If you want a true Swiss origins movement, you will have to go with an in-house movement from a Swiss company like AP or Girard Perregeaux etc.. The difference between a China made for ETA 2836 and a Swiss finished China made for ETA 2836...almost nothing, well except the shine and the labeling.
