PAM 233 Datewheel replacement - I'm stuck

I'm in the middle of trying to replace the white datewheel in my PAM 233 with a black one, but I'm stuck.

I've got the dial off, but, to my surprise, the datewheel is buried under another level of components. I don't know how to get this next plate off to get to the datewheel.

Can someone please tell me how to get this plate off so I can change the datewheel?

I figured it out and swapped the datewheel, now I just need to get it all back together.

I really love the watch but the white dw is also a problem for me.

What kind of dw did you use?

I do agree with Francisco, please show us the staps you made and of course the results!
