Custom Kampfschwimmer sandwich dial

Following is a pic of my first attempt to replicate the dial of a vintage radiomir. I have used a thin mica sheet and painted it with colored orange varnish.

What do you yhink of the result ? Too reddish ? may be i will try with yellow varnish ?

The dial is coming from a radiomir i bought from silix.
