NT...

Does genuine super luminova have a lifespan? 5 years, 10, longer?

Like tritium, does it fade with time?

Just wondering

As far as I know: no, it lasts forever.

Naturally, nothing is forever...

So, if we get a watch with super luminova hands/indeces, it should glow similar when new as it will 10 years and more?

If so, I guess I'll be shipping out my 195 dial soon :-(

If that is the case than my older gens are all defective. Tritium lasts longer than Lume.Tritium is good for something like 20 years (half life or something like that), lume fades after 5-7years or so. An expert should chime in if I have the time periods wrong. :)

Hmmm... I thought it was the other way around... All the T dials I see have a yellowish/brown/beige patina and glow no more.

I am wondering because of the 195 (L dial) I have just received from Davidsen. The lume is not bright and I am wondering if a gen 195 would still be glowing like a torch... If so, I will have it relumed.
