Marble
Hello Guys, Recently I buyed "Skools" franken Tudor 7928 and I wanted to make it more special. So I buyed a Tudor 390 caliber wich is the right movement for the 7928 sub. I dismanteld the watch and tried to testfit the movement, it was a no go. The caliber was to big for the case! Buyed another rep case on the bay, a sub 9411 and crossed my fingers. It was tight but I took the dremel and now it fits perfect. I'm just a little worried about the rotor, do you guys think it comes to far out of the case? http://users.edpnet.be/kiara/Oliver/sub79281.JPG http://users.edpnet.be/kiara/Oliver/sub79282.JPG Can't find any decent pictures from the rotor on other watches. Also non of my casebacks wil fit when the movement is installed, the sub 7928 has a different caseback then the one I got. I found the right caseback on regular Tudors, but will they fit? My caseback: http://users.edpnet.be/kiara/Oliver/sub79284.JPG 7928 caseback: http://users.edpnet.be/kiara/Oliver/sub7928real.jpg
freddy333
It looks like it may sit too high, but the only way to know for sure is to fit the caseback & see. You may also run into problems getting the stem to align with the hole in the case.
stilty
You may also run into problems getting the stem to align with the hole in the case. That was my first thought. Is the stem aligned properly in the case? It not, that needs to be solved first.
