specialvat
I keep my watches on a winder, they all react differently some gain some loose the gens stay close to the time they should be. My AP EOD seems to gain ten minutes consistantly, so I took it off and followed the post on how to adjust the timing of the watch. It still gains ten mins and I ve adjusted it three times, so much so I dont think the adjuster will move any further counter clockwise. Anyone have an idea whats up with the bugger, or is it time to send it off for a pro to look at. Sorry for the long post, thanks for reading. Regards, DH. You could try wearing it a few days and see if the gain/loss is consistent then. Some watches are more "accurate" when worn as gain/loss when actually worn is averaged out over more positions, while in a winder, even though it's supposed to cycle through multiple positions, can sometimes not work the greatest for keeping accurate time. Sending it off to a pro is a cheap fix to have it checked and regulated. It could be the movement just needs servicing if it's over 9months old. Shundi
Try a simple degaussing (The reallly cheap way is to go to a store with one of those "demagnitizer" things and buy something with an anti-theft tag on it...ask to put our watch right over the pad when the sales associate "demagnitzes" it ) at a mall kiosk or trusted watch repair specialist who is willing to work on reps and is NOT an authorized dealer...if that doesn't work, it might be time for a servicing
