Samurai Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 Thanks everyone for giving me tips on using the CapeCod. Thought I'd put it to some real test. So took out wife's 8 year old gen Tag Link. The watch has never been polished/repaired except for a battery change. Before Pics: Spent about 30 min polishing and buffing the watch. Later on based on Lani's advice....washed it with a mild solution of warm water (pics are before washing). Here is the result. Does CapeCod work???? Decide for yourself. Samurai Posted January 21, 2009 Author Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 I did my Super Avenger and the results were fantastic.....not a single scratch on the watch now. Not sure on the Platinum part....but CapeCod says....can be used for most shiney metallic surfaces....avoid using on plated items. So....solid Platinum should be fine I guess.
