Swapping Dial on Navitimer

I am looking for information regarding a dial swap for a rep Navitimer... Came across an interesting gen dial and was thinking of purchasing it...

However, I don't recall ever seeing anyone swap a rep for gen dial on a Navitimer... hopefully someone can shed some light on whether or not it can be done...

Thanks!

I also saw a nice navitimer dial on ebay, not sure where you found yours.

Your best bet would be to contact your dealer, they always know that kind of stuff as they know these watches inside out. This is what I did when having similar probs. And it' s definaltely worth doing on a navitimer as the dial is poor.

I have a gen dial and Swiss 7750 in mine. The gen dial is marginally too large and will need to be cut down to fit. Just be very careful that the gen dial you are looking at is for the Valjoux /ETA 7750. Breitling used a variety of movements with the same layout so you could easily get one that looks right but won't fit the movement.

have had several of these also done my self..

i have a lot of navitimer spares including bracelets and double ar'd crystals, cases, dials, movements and DW's pm me for pointers if you need info on doing a franken.

note: for a proper franken yopu need a gen inner tachy ring, but it can be done w/o!

Just to add that the dial swap works best on the 6-9-12 Navis. The date window on the gen 7753 is slightly more outboard than the modified 7750, so you will see the outer edge of the datewheel and the font will be off centered, with the tricompax model.
