And I meant, since the cartel case fits the base ETA then the 1120 should fit as well

there has been some discussion that the 1120 is thinner so a spacer is needed. however, i remember some1 putting a 1120 then a gen caseback making the entire watch more similar to a gen with a slimmer profile.

Worth it? Yeah it is...

And since it's based of the 2892 you'd need a spacer for the cartel cases unless you ordered an older version with a 2892 in it... $366 is an awesome price for that assortment... it's running to almost the same specs as my 1120s...

Out of curiousity, with or without the gen caseback?

The gen caseback does not affect the replacement of the genuine 1120 movement. You would run more risk of having a caseback that doesnt fit into the case due to different size threading. Since the 1120 is thinner than the 2824, a gen caseback should have no issue at all.

Here's a good example. I put a 1120 into this SMP replica Electric Blue dial.
