AllergyDoc Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 I would like to get my BK "transformer" GMT super lumed. Who would do that best?
RWG Technical Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 It's unfortunate that we don't have anyone here on RWG who does lume work... RG
its_urabus Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 I heard a myth about this guy in canada that was so good he could lume the tiny legs hairs of a lighting bug... crazy stories from the north I tell ya
RWG Technical Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 With 6 months of darkness...it's probably true RG
Toadtorrent Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 I heard a myth about this guy in canada that was so good he could lume the tiny legs hairs of a lighting bug... crazy stories from the north I tell ya It's true...the Lightening Bug is a user on RWI...use Search to find the post. BTW...on a serious note. The Zigmeister is the King of Lume. My IWC Cousteau Diver he just did with the new Tritec blue lume is pictured in the middle of his signature. I can tell you it glows like crazy...casts a glow right through a sweatshirt covering it in a dark room and is readily readable all night long. The precision of application??? Well...just look at his signature pictures...you tell me what you think!!
bwhitesox Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 LOL and he's not too bad with watch dials either
slickdick Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 (edited) Some say his application was raised by a renegade chemist... And some say that if it were set alight it'd burn for a thousand days. All we know is he is called the Zigg! Edited February 6, 2009 by slickdick
AllergyDoc Posted February 28, 2009 Author Report Posted February 28, 2009 Hmmm.... Can't get my PM to go through to The Zigmeister and Watchworks says they have a 3-8 weeks minimum turnaround...
its_urabus Posted February 28, 2009 Report Posted February 28, 2009 well, which is it, 3 or 8 weeks. tell them you want a smaller window or you are taking your buisness elsewhere. not that hard if you know your schedule...
