Will a Watchsmith service a rep watch?

I know this may be a real noob question. but id like to change a few things on my new watch. and i dont have the time or the patients to do it. and was wonder if u took it to a watch smith they would do it. and if they would actually work on a rep?

Yes, it's best to approach them in a friendly manner an enquire whether they would work on a CHinese replica, rather than take it in there and pretend it's geniune, they'll find out when the case backs off. Some will say no, but some will say yes, it's all about doing a little bit of searching.

Best of luck with it. Just remember that before you pick who to approach half the battle is getting someone who is capable of and willing to do aesthetic mods. Most smiths are competent to service a movement and polish a case at best. Also be forewarned that smiths who are authorized repair folks for brands are more likely to have a moral objection. And last but not least that smith is unlikely to be able to get spare parts if you are dealing witha non-ETA movement or brand name movement.
