RolexSigEp
A lot of people are wanting a white gold or platinum DayDate rep but are concerned about the weight of it. Wouldn't it make sense to make the bracelet solid through out to give it more of a gen like feel and weight? It does to me. Or do they already make the bracelets all solid or does anybody source such a thing? What are your thoughts?
RolexSigEp
anybody have any thoughts on making a more substantial bracelet to mimic the real deal?
Dizzy
All the reps are made from solid stainless steel. The watch weighs about HALF the weight of a real gold rolex. Gold is twice as heavy as stainless steel. The platinum version of the watch is even heavier. There isnt much you can do to mimic the weight of a real gold watch. RolexSigEp
I'm talking about solid mid links. Have you ever felt how heavy a Breitling STAINLESS band is? Its incredible how heavy those bracelets are and doesn't seem hard for the factories to start making a more solid substantial bracelet to get closer to weight. I know you aren't going to mimic the weight of a gold or platinum watch but it sure seems like it could be closer with the factories making a solid Rolex stainless band like Breitling does.
