SilverG Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Hi, I had an issue with my stem no going back into the movement correctly. I corrected it with Bazz's keyless works guide. Now I don't know how to get the datewheel back onto the movement. Can anyone please help me? Thanks!
freddy333 Posted February 24, 2009 Report Posted February 24, 2009 Slide the datewheel in from the right side so that the teeth slide underneath the curved metal guide on the right side of the movement While holding the datewheel in place, use a small pair of tweezers or a pin to gently press the sideways-facing 'V' spring clip to the right as you lower the left side of the date wheel into place. Once the datewheel is lowered, slowly release the 'V' spring clip so that it fits between a pair of the datewheel's teeth It may take a few tries (this procedure is tricky) to see what each of the parts are doing, but, eventually, you should be able to fit it in.
stilty Posted February 25, 2009 Report Posted February 25, 2009 To lower the date disc onto the movement. You must fit the tooth of the date disc into the cutout notch. Just above the "V" shaped spring.
