acesup_11
I would like a dress watch. 1.I need it to be very accurate to gen 2.I need the Gen to be stainless steel because I do not know of any rep that has good gold plating as I have been reading through the threads and it seem to be the same across all rep lines. Also I don't wear anything with yellow gold either so it would have had to be white gold or rhodium plated anyway. 3. Would like it to look good on a black leather strap or maybe a light brown or carmel colored strap 4. would like a reliable movement if i didn't care about that I would just buy a IWC Portoguesse with the seconds at 6 but we all know that is a time bomb other than that it just has to be classy. Thanks so much for your help in advance.

acesup_11
I was thinking of something more elegant thanks the thought though
hackR
there's many threads on this topic already...you might want to search thru them... VC Malte Chronographe (search thru posts for this one - RobbieG has a few posts on this great watch...) (you might also want to add some specificity on size, shape, dial details (guilloche, color, subdials/chronos, classic/modern, etc, etc)
Shundi
Agreed...the search button is your friend.
jfreeman420
VC Malte Chronographe +1 You might also try a Patek chrono or calatrava. JLC also has some very nice dress models. You could also search ebay for a gen vintage Omega for the price of a rep. These are realy cool and very affordable.
acesup_11
I agree with the VC Malte Chronographe but isnt the gen white gold or platinum? I would prefer a more modern watch no pref with subdial or not not pref with square or round face. I tried search but cannot find one that is accurate to the gen. jfreeman420
The high polished stanless steel looks very close o WG or plat. No worries.

RIBOOWW2
Cartier santos with gold & steel, provided you have a large enough wrist and you like a1930's art deco type styling. The unique strap is also stunning Omega de ville
RIBOOWW2
There are really no great reps of top level watches with movements with complications eg Patek, VC, Lange etc. Wish there were but the movements are too complex.
