sorry to say a situation like this will be very hard to get around the service charges.

first try another AD in UK, maybe they can help you(call on tele) also try looking in phonebook for a watchmaker/ repair worker, they may be able to help you but they will still have a service charge and a part charge. the problem with genuine watches is the BRAND will not or does not sell parts separate from service. same with rolex but what makes it easier with rolex is the sheer volume of dealers and watches that they sell that some of the parts get out from their control. the volume of breitling while larger then most GENUINE BRANDS is still much less them Rolex and parts are very hard to get outside of AD Centre. maybe full service is smart to get is it has been a few years of ownership. try to politely talk to the AD and see if they can order the part.. but still to install the part it has to be done from inside and outside the case, so movement has to be removed, most AD will not remove a movement without service, and with a pusher like this the AD will reseal and lube or replace gaskets and retest waterproof test ATM... so its hard to get away from the service charges.
