I m close to buying it, just need to work out how to improve the missing gear issue. I m thinking fastening a dummy wheel to the blank first plate, and perhaps drill holes for dummy screw heads to sit in. The small things always bother me.

You'd still be left with perlage instead of cotes de geneve finish on the top plate.

I think too the size is 44 mm but accordingto the press released by AP is regulr 42 mm
