Improving waterv resistance

I've just received a Rep 6152/1 with Plexi Glass from David San and was told it is water resistant tested to 1 ATM.

Is there anyway that I can do to improve the water resistance? perhaps a gasket / o-ring inside /aroung the plexi?

It's not that I am going to dive with it, but I would like to have the ability wear it may be to swimming or snorkling rather than just in the shower

Please note that the watch with Sapphire Glass from David San is water resistant tested to 3 ATM.

I see there should be no reason why it could not be more water resistant, as long as all seals are in place and lubricated and the glass fits the bezel correctly and is either glued in or held by a correctly fitted retaining ring.

Find a local watchsmith with the ability to dry test it and if it passes that test then try a wet test.

The plexi on my ProjectSub was quite loose, and removable with very little pressure from the back, which, when the watch got wet, allowed it to flood. I used some cyanoacrylate glue around the edge of the plexi, and it is now water-resistant again. I don't know how deep it would last, but it's withstood two 30 minute soaks in a Japanese-Style Bath without any kind of problem:)
