Woo Hoo! Phone rings from area code 212. Figured it might be the hotel or something with a room change.

But no! It is Letterman (not him personally) calling to say they have a pair of tickets for me for next week.

Anyone ever go to a taping? Does Gold list mean anything?

hey buddy, i've requested letterman tickets on my last two trips to new york and got the call back (like you) both times. it's a lot of fun! not sure what list means though? they do split you up into lines before you go in but i don't recall colors.

Been there too. You will be shocked by how small the studio really is, at least I was. I'm not sure about the gold thing, I remember going to line up hours before the show though. Have fun!
