help with my deap sea rolex!

i have this watch with asia eta 2836 two months.now lose time and stop!watchmaker ask for me to see the movement 60$.what can i do?i buy new or i give money to fix?thanks a lot!

If the watchmaker does not mind working on a rep and if he is a knowledgeable representative of his profession, I would have the watch serviced. All reps come with unserviced movements, some dirty, some dry, some work, some don't. In my collection, all the reps I really care for, go to a watchmaker for service.

yep your right 2836 asia, $60 for a service, not a bad price if it is done properly

Would it be better to get a Swiss ETA 2836 and replace the movement ?

would it be an easy swap ? date overlay ? hands ?
