A Eta 2836 Regulating Question ..

Recommended Posts

One minute a week is 8.6 sec a day and the Etachron fine regulator of an ETA 2836 will handle such a correction without problem. Start with 1.5 notches towards the minus sign.

The picture of Rolexman is not from an 2836 and has no Etachron regulator.

I would say : give it a try and keep us informed.

Here is a picture of the 2836 , good luck.

how exactly do you figure out if you're gaining or losing seconds? do you match it to a digital clock? would love to know

what i did was pulled out the stem to stop the seconds hands on the 12 & waited to the time on my digital cable box change & then i pushed it back in & monitor the seconds with the digital cable box .. :)

i hope this is a good method .
