I'm wondering if anyone has installed a Swiss 3 register chrono movement like the Lemania or older Landeron in a rep case.

Getting a gen dial and hands is no problem and not that pricey.

I have an old Lemania movement from a Tissot and would like to give it a try if anyone knows about the pusher spacing and depth.

Thanks,

Jim

I don't know about the rep case but I have a similar movement from a Tissot and I'm considering the same project, so I am interested in any advice.

I read in an old post that the pushers have a different angle, so the gen movt will not fit.

Sorry but i could find it again, but I almost sure about this (my memory sometimes amaze me, sometimes let me down :) )

The Lemania needed for a Speedy is the 1873.

I'd go with a gen case. Ofrei sells them for about $570. Add a genuine hand set (about $85) and a genuine dial (about $150) and you have a perfectly gen looking watch for $800 plus the movement.

Canibalising a rep is $300 cheaper but you have to live with the flaws of the case...
