He told me that I bought the wrong hands... I've bought 2892 hands instead of asian 7750... My mistake, my watch was about to be fully modded. Yeah...that's a big no...u might be able to mod the hands..its been done but not recommeded. Taken from Takashi's SUPER helpful post over at DS. Jimster Posted May 20, 2009 Report Share Posted May 20, 2009 Go all the way and slap a swiss 7750 into that puppy IMO, just keep the A7750. Just pinch the gen sweep and broach the subs. I just swapped out my gen 7750 from my Junghans day/date to my SM300 chrono and put the A7750 back in the Junghans. I used the day wheel from the gen and it fit right in and I swapped out the rotor so the Omega has the Omega rotor. They both keep good time and the Junghan hands (gen) fit on the A7750 with the a fore mentioned pinch/broach. All you really need is the Omega date wheel and the gen hands and you're good to go. My Black dial version has plenty of threads on the tube so I didn't even machine in a gen tube. The gen hands really improve the look as they are longer. My watchmaker broke the crown, I know that it's an issue on this model, not his fault... I was about to order a gen crown to ofrei or cousinsuk but after the measurements from the watchmaker, I'm doubting again...
