Argh! my Franken SMP chrono was about to be finished...

I gave my watch to Domenico in order to service it and change dial, hands, bezel and insert for genuine parts.

He told me that I bought the wrong hands...

I've bought 2892 hands instead of asian 7750...

My mistake, my watch was about to be fully modded.

Does anyone knows if the gen hands (1154 or 1164) will fit? I'm doubting watching pics from Ofrei...

From what I read, the gen hands will not fit the rep 7750 movement.

If you're looking for hands, ask one of our dealers to source you some.

Yeah...that's a big no...u might be able to mod the hands..its been done but not recommeded.

Go all the way and slap a swiss 7750 into that puppy :)

IMO, just keep the A7750. Just pinch the gen sweep and broach the subs.

I just swapped out my gen 7750 from my Junghans day/date to my SM300 chrono and put the A7750 back in the Junghans.

I used the day wheel from the gen and it fit right in and I swapped out the rotor so the Omega has the Omega rotor.

They both keep good time and the Junghan hands (gen) fit on the A7750 with the a fore mentioned pinch/broach.

All you really need is the Omega date wheel and the gen hands and you're good to go. My Black dial version has plenty of threads on the tube so I didn't even machine in a gen tube.

The gen hands really improve the look as they are longer.

I'll do a short review when I get some time in the next few weeks.

Here's a quick shot and one of a gen: I've got to get a gen dial. Those curly toes are starting to bother me!

Thanks everyone...

Now it's time for another delay.

My watchmaker broke the crown, I know that it's an issue on this model, not his fault...

I was about to order a gen crown to ofrei or cousinsuk but after the measurements from the watchmaker, I'm doubting again...

He measures the crown at 5.97mm or the gen part for the 2599.80 is up to 6mm.

CousinUK: GENUINE Omega Crown is 9 x
