chazglenn3 Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 Does the helium escape valve on the UPO actually unscrew, or is it just glued onto the case? I have tried to unscrew it (for no real good reason mind you) and it didn't want to turn. I didn't want to try to force it, so I didn't try too hard. Same with deploying the divers extension. Could figure out how to get it out, but don't really need to either.
cougaree Posted May 27, 2009 Report Posted May 27, 2009 Mine does unscrew. You can't remove it but enough of a gap to allow HE gas to escape. chazglenn3 Posted May 28, 2009 Author Report Posted May 28, 2009 Oh, it doesn't need to be functional. If I'm ever deep enough in the ocean to need a helium escape valve, I am wearing cement shoes! I just like to play with all of the cool things on the watch like divers extensions and helium valves.
