There is a fix for the loose bezel over at either Rep Geek or RWI. It involves dental floss! No joke. I have been planning to fix the loose bezel on my SA BlackSteel, but just haven't gotten around to it. EDIT: I found the post on Rep Geek... http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=82480

The movement I bought is a straight swap, but isn't the ETA clone. It is a high-beat version of the 21j movement.

My Milgauss movement had issues right after I started wearing it. I sent it back to the dealer, and since I got it back (serviced) it has kept time a bit better than my genuine Swiss ETA LV Submariner. Best $100 I've spent in a long time!

I was going to buy this watch from Reg, but bought the UPO because I decided on the 45.5mm over the 42mm.

I have the same watch...bought it from Stan. Question, have you taken the caseback off? I removed mine and noticed that the anti-magnetic cover isn't there. I'm thinking they only install them on the ETA version.

Sure hope he didn't pay $14,500 for one of those. They can be had brand new for $5000 now.

I love this watch! I bought a 21J version from Stan. It doesn't have the anti-magnetic cover in it, but also doesn't have the etched crown. I just got a high-beat movement in to swap into the watch. I wish the rep lume glowed different colors like the gen!

Oh, it doesn't need to be functional. If I'm ever deep enough in the ocean to need a helium escape valve, I am wearing cement shoes! I just like to play with all of the cool things on the watch like divers extensions and helium valves.

My Rolex Milgauss GV arrived without the anti-magnetic cover installed. Now, I'll have to crack open my UPO and see if the cover is there.

What is Reg getting for the 45.5mm PO? I'm sure it is more money than the 42mm, but how much more?

Thanks for the reply! I wore the LV Sub to work today, so I will check out the UPO when I get home from work.

Does the helium escape valve on the UPO actually unscrew, or is it just glued onto the case? I have tried to unscrew it (for no real good reason mind you) and it didn't want to turn. I didn't want to try to force it, so I didn't try too hard. Same with deploying the divers extension. Could figure out how to get it out, but don't really need to either.

Hmmm...I sold my Breitling Skyland on a rubber strap to fund my UPO purchase. I did like the rubber strap on that watch. Maybe I'll get a nice rubber strap for my UPO.

Exactly. These macro pictures exaggerate the flaws greatly. And truth be told, nobody outside of the rep community knows what the flaws are with the POSSIBLE exception of an authorized distributor. The people working at the last couple of AD's I visited wouldn't be able to tell the difference. My UPO is as good as it gets IMO for Omega replicas.

I just got my UPO from Daytona4Me yesterday...awesome watch! From China to Washington state was 8 days from date of order. I too was thinking of AR upgrading, but seriously, out of the box (yes I bought the box set) this is so close that I am going to leave it as is.

Looking at your picture, I fail to see anything wrong. You may need a better picture to send to your dealer. I don't know where you are, but my local Sears watch repair is rep-friendly and has done work on my Rolex, Breitling and Omega reps.

I just ordered an UPO from Daytona4Me. He is selling the clone ETA movement model for $180.

Beautiful watches! I know what you mean about not wanting to take off the stickers. That is the main reason I like the reps...when I bumped my Sub LV on the car door and scratched the bezel, I was midly upset...if I had spent over $6K for the watch I would have been furious!!! Same with the rep Skyland I am wearing now...bumped it on the wall...

Which of the dealers are selling this one? I have got to have one of these!

I also thought that the rep had red paint on the center of the sub dial hands where the gen is gold...
