Pugwash
A friend of mine just returned from Thailand with a rather nice BR02. Asian movement, mineral crystal, etc, but very nice. However, his missus dropped it and the crystal has broken. Anyone know where to get a replacement? Ideally, an AR-sapphire replacement would be best, but a mineral will do. Ideas? Anakin14
Pugwash - Did you notice if the crystal presses in and out like a "normal" watch? The faceplate on the watch doesn't have to come off, does it? I have a rep BR02 and I want to send the crystal out for AR. FYI - I've done some extensive Googling and I can't find anyplace that sells gen parts for this watch.
its_urabus
i asked the dealer when I bought mine if he could source a second crystal, he said no that there are not spare parts available. I hate to say it, but I don't really believe it. If anyone finds a seller, please share @anakin, there are vendors that sell gen straps for the br02, but other than that, I haven't been able to find gen parts either. Anakin14
I love my BR02. I was comparing it to a gen in a jewelery store and it is spot on. The only give aways, and you have to have the watches side by side is the bezel, dial, and hands are a little bit off, but not by much. I would love to replace at least the dial and the hands with gens.
