Hi all. Just wondering if anyone here has managed to locate replacement 45mm radiomir case lug screws? I've got a couple in need of replacing - actually, I wouldn't mind buying several sets because these darn things are easy to strip and to lose.

Thanks.

I forget who the seller is, but there is someone on eBay who sells an assorted lot of 500 - 1000 misc. watch screws for $25 (if I recall correctly). In this mix, I believe there are maybe 10 sets of 4 of the exact same screws used for the Radiomir lugs (count may vary- I am not certain how the assortment is determined; it could be completely random).

If I find that seller again, I'll PM the link to you Zeiss....

A local watchmaker can make these screws for you.

You don't know a local watchmaker?

Look in the Yellow Pages under "Clock Repairs".

These guys have to make virtually every spare part that they need. Turning up a couple of screws should not present them with a problem.

I had a bad experience with my local watchmaker. Otherwise, a good idea HighC. I found a thread at TRC with approximate dimensions. Can anyone confirm these dimensions? If so, I can try to source them:

stainless steel, slotted, round head polished

dia of head: 1.5mm

dia of shaft: 1.0mm

length of screw:3.0mm leaving 2.5mm for shaft, or thereabouts

thread pitch: about 6 threads per 1.5mm

Would these screws (from either source) be much better, and longer lasting or suffer the same problems?
