Z. hi TK471, this watch got a gen original swiss made valjoux 7750. its easy to swap this movement. you have to take the main [censored] from the asia and take the rest from the gen 7750. change the gear on 12 pisition to the 3 position. i would not to build in a gen 7753. in the 253 is an old version asia 7750, thats a 1:1 copy with the gen 7750. i knew that each thing fits. rolli Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I really can't decide. I think I want to get this watch, but I believe that these watches can be made to last for a long time. I'm not sure whether the investment in the swiss movement is worth it. I would still have to send it off to someone to be relumed, so you have to factor that cost in. While it's there, someone could probably make the Asian movement work well. Decisions, decisions....
