addscotland Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 Can anyone recommend someone to carry out repairs in Edinburgh? One of my lume markers has come loose and is rattling around under the glass. I am useless with these practical things. Any suggestions?
manuel Posted June 10, 2007 Report Posted June 10, 2007 Hi addscotland, I know a watchmaster who is able to work with your watch but he is far far away from Edinburgh. He is from Madrid as well as me. He has worked with several watches of mine as well as watches from other members here. I will be glad to help you out. You can contact me only trough email, my pm inbox is full. Regards from Spain.

Yes, it's the kind of repair that can be done at a pub table with the right tools and a quiet enough pub.

Hi Pugwash, Sorry for not replying earlier but don't get on the forum as much anymore ( building ) and they moved my post! Thanks for the generous offer but managed to get it fixed. I too am an Englishman in Scotland, originally from Yorkshire but here for many moons. I may take you up on the offer if I have any more trouble as I understand tis a common fault. Hi also to Rob S some commute to Leicester man!

addscotland Posted July 9, 2007 Author Report Posted July 9, 2007 I was raised in Yorkshire, too! Now I've come over all nostalgic for pudding and pints of Tetleys. Just received a Chrono diver from PT so fiddling with pins.
