I think the portugese is a truly stunning watch and done justice by the very fine photos here. I have been put off however by the reported problems with the seconds at six . Have any of the postees had problems? if used occasionally for dress purposes would the movement be less likely to develop problems?

Thanks for the replies all. I wasn't sure whether stiff was normal, mine also is stiff for first quater. It is intesting that gen is stiff also .I will stop fiddling.

I have the latest version of the 45mm and it is truly a great looking watch. The bezel however is very stiff to turn, has anyone else encountered this and is there a fix?

Many thanks for your advice guys, I think I'll get the link pin remover as you've suggested I've tried to remove them with a ground down pin but with no success. I think this version is no easier than the rest!
