  1. Watcheden sells them, but the date wheel has the wrong color and it has a quartz movement
  2. All dealers supply watches from the same factories, at the end the only difference is the final price they would charge you. This means he could provide you any watch with eta movement you like. Having said that, are you really sure an eta movement is the right choice? Most of the time all you get is an old eta movement with some replaced asian parts, an hybrid in few words. There are countless discussions about this in this forum so you might want to reconsider your idea and save some money as well.
  3. http://torobravos.com/ is in Spain, he is a Td here and on other forums. Ho comprato orologi da lui spesso, molto affidabile. Ciao
  4. Hi guys I ve been looking for ager for a date wheel with red numerals suitable for a 7750 but i did not succeed. So i am thinking to go for a custom layer to be applied upon the dw so i can overcome the issue. Can you tell me who can hel me with this pls? I have found few old posts about this matter but with no reference to a modder or seller. Any help woul be really appreciated, tnx.
  5. Domi is the best in EU. People here expect nice jobs in no time at minimum cost with a flawless communication... But this is something that neither Rolex can give, so guys pls set your expectations right and u wont be disappointed!
  6. yes, this is a 21j.. the thing is that I have just bought a clark crystal, a clark tube with gaskets and a gen crown...I assumed these parts would have fitted anyway... although a yuki would have been nicer, I can make the dial "vintage" by myself, any suggestions?
  7. OK guys, finally i have the watch in my hands so i have dismantle it to see what is inside. This is the case, the movement and the dial (29mm). I'd really appreciate it if you can help me to understand which case is it and which movement also. So the real questions are: - would a clark crystal 127 and a clark tube fit? - would a gen crown be good for it? - can the yuki dial be placed in this case? the one you can see at the moment measures 29mm
  8. Guys the watch is still on its way to me so I will take some pics when I get it (the one above are from the seller), perhaps you will be able to tell me where it is coming from then. Now i am going to buy a dial for it, which one is the best in your opinion? Yuki Ingod
  9. the previous seller shaved it and put a better bracelet, this might explain why it looks smaller thant the standard mbw. What about the rest? can i assume is a mbw then?
  10. The seller bought it in Thailand, so it might be cartel or mbw, he is not able to tell me so the only option i have is to dismantle and measure the dial. It has a low beat movement though, not sure i want to go for a gen crown and tube unless these parts are necessary to install the dial. Anyway it seems this watch will keep me busy for a while :-)
  11. ok, i think these parts are the ones i will go for.... however, how can i make sure they would fit? any way to tell before i buy them?
  12. Hi guys just bought this beauty, but I am not totally convinced about the dial and other small details, so what mods should I get to make it better? I am thinking about: - yuki dial - clark crystal 127 - bezel with vintagized pearl... (from who?) what do u think?
  13. I am about to buy a nice Tudor snowflake but thinking to transform it into a sub 79090 by changing dial and hands when they come available someday. Is it possible or am i missing something? Tnx
  14. I see your point and I agree with you, it'd be better to go for a gen rather than spending 1500 bucks on a franken. However, I think I was not clear enough because the only gen parts I'm thinking of are the crystal and the dial. For the remaining rep parts i don't think I am going to spend 300$ for a pair of hands or 150 for crown and tube, perhaps I can put some rep rolex bracelet to it as I have seen the same combo on gen 79090 too. At the end I should manage to be well under 1000$.
  15. I love the look of the Tudor Sub, especially the 79090 with blue dial. Since they have not been repped, I am thinking to build one. I believe I would need the following parts from gen/repped Rolex: (MBW) case, perhaps from a 5513 or 1680 ETA 2783 movement Gen 25-19 crystal hands crown and tube spring bars 93150 bracelet & 580 end links then I would need to find somewhere - blue insert - blue tudor dial is this the full list or am I missing anything? any advice about where sourcing the parts or what exactly I have to buy (ie hands, crown, tube...) is really appreciated! I have searched in the forum but I couldn't find a lot of info as this model is not one of the most popular from Tudor. thanks
