jester69
Ok this might be a stupid question but I just installed my leather band onto my Breitling Navitimer 01 and I want the leather band to form more around my wrist. It's basically too stiff and doesn't make a nice circle. Is this something that will form by wearing it or is there some technique to help it along? Ehecht
If its a deployant there will always be a flat side under your wrist. I wear only tang buckles with breitlings for that reason
GenTLe
As from boots, the leather will need time to become softer and take the shape. Usually I treat the leather straps with seal fat and stress them manipulating them. Finally I put them on the pillow of the watch box with strap closed to make them take the proper shape. Resistor
The Strap Smith has how-to vids on his website, including one on breaking in new straps. Not sure if we're allowed to post links here but just google "Strap Smith". Edited October 13, 2014 by Resistor
