Ok so I've been collecting for a few years now. I don't really pour over general information; usually just about a specific watch I'm looking to purchase. So my question is this, with all the care most rep manufacturers have in creating an almost exact replica of a real watch how come most of the time the date in the date window is too low? From my understanding a lot of the time they are using a rep movement that is almost identical to a gen. I mean why can't they get that little detail correct? Or am I missing something?

Thanks, but that's the Navitimer World, I already have that one. I'm looking for the Navitimer 46 which is a specific model.

So i've looked all over and can't find one. I'm not sure they make one, but if anyone knows I would really like a nice rep of a Navitimer 46. I already have the standard Navitimer which is a 42 and it's beautiful, just too small for my wrist. I just bought a Super Avenger II Blacksteel. Big and beautiful. So that'll hold me over until they make one, I guess.

Ok so I've had my new Navitimer for half a day and I noticed that when I move my hand and then let it rest I feel the weight in the watch spinning. I feel it spinning as if it's unwinding, not just the motion of it moving as normal, but actually spinning by the spring. I tried my other watches and can't feel the same thing. As the movements are all the same I want to make sure it's working correcly. So what is the probelm and how do I fix it?

I've got a SMP Ceramic and LOVE it. I'm pretty careful with it, but my favorite part of the watch the clasp has some scuff marks. Does anyone know what I can use to get the brushed finish back. I know I can try 0000 steel wool and the like, but thought I'd ask if anyone has done it before and might have some tips. Here's a pic of the scuff.

Ok this might be a stupid question but I just installed my leather band onto my Breitling Navitimer 01 and I want the leather band to form more around my wrist. It's basically too stiff and doesn't make a nice circle. Is this something that will form by wearing it or is there some technique to help it along?

So I just got my new Breitling Navitimer 01 1:1 from PT. I ordered it with the SS bracelet and an extra black leather deployment clasp. I really wanted the leather, but wasn't sure which I liked better. I opted for ordering it with the SS bracelet as it would be made for the watch and I'm sure the leather band would be more forgiving when fitting it. Very happy with it. This is a 1:1, or so the website says, rep. It looks great. This pics are not that great, but it's not like the Navitimer 01 hasn't been reviewed before. Anywho here it is.

I'm not sure you want to divulge it, but whom did you get it from? Also the QC pics on a website mean nothing to me. When I order a watch the TD sends me ACTUAL pictures of the watch they are sending for my approval. Is that what happened here or does the dealer you use just go by what's on their website?

@Kernow can you measure your band width. The half links on ebay that are coming up on searches say they are 18mm wide. Mine measure 20.09mm. My watch is a 44mm case size, so I'm not sure what size watch yours is. Thanks.

I figured it out. Impressive, even the rep has the bracelet number etched on the clasp.
