  1. Well, I guess I am a man now. I managed to post something in a WUS thread, that got me a reprimand and the thread was deleted. Evidently HELPING members over there my posting a link to a legitimate commercial website is a NO NO, and cuts into their sponsors revenue. So in short, if you try to save your fellow man money on parts, you are undercutting the AD/Forum Sponsors. God I love RWG! Long live the "Real Watch Guide" where free speech is still possible.

  2. At the moment, the H factory is better. The bezel on the H is wrong and when compared to the N factory. The N factory has some major issues at the moment! The lume on the Noob is not superluminova, almost no lump at all.. The crystal on the noob is not clear...it's foggy compared to the H 243 The bezel on the noob is perfect and correct, where the H bezel looks weird compared next to the noob. The Crown Guard is better on the Noob. I will post some actual comparison shoots that were done last week. I have shots of the 243 noob vs the 243 H. You will be able to see for yourself. The noob factory is not being sold much, as the problems have to be settled. In the end, The Noob will win hands down. I will see you guys tomorrow the actual pics we took! Cheers, MM

  4. the 312 is a close rep but the movement lets it down. Have a look at Andrews site with the Pams listed on his homepage being the "Ultimate releases". The 351 also has the same case and design but with gold hands and graphite case and worth looking at if the movement doesn't bother you. If you are looking for a 50's case, you should also consider the 253 or the 212. The only problem with these is the use of mineral glass instead of sapphire. It's pretty difficult to notice though. BTW I've got a 253 up for sale in the UK at the moment.

  7. I have seen Concepta refund others, and I never saw a flame post for any of these. It is his day job that permits his generosity. And for those that think there is big money to be made building these watches ... jump right in! Skip the AD, and go directly to the factory in Schaffhausen, get these parts wholesale. If you can't build these watches yourself, find a qualified watchsmith who can. And then listen to the guy who paid 1/3 of the retail price complain because he found flaws using the 30x microscope. And then, when you are sent the wrong dial, pay to have it shipped back, and wait another 6 weeks to get the correct one. And then, try to get warped cases replaced by our buddies in GZ. And then, respond to 100+ messages a week. If you can endure this for 3 months, let us know about all the big money you are making.
