  1. Just going add real quick here that the admin will never engage in selling replica watches. That would put me "on the wrong side of the fence" in many ways.
  2. Welcome. If you palaced an order with Narikaa, you will have your watch in a day or two looking forward to see the pictures
  3. As you all know (or at least I hope you know), we are always trying to improve RWG and make it a great place for all of our members. Because of this we add new service to the board now and then. Most of the time, the members like the services we introduce and use them a lot. Other times, we introduce services that looked like fun or to be a good service, but people end up not using it. Because of this, I am now going through the server logs to review the different services we have installed and will remove the ones that are used by very few members. The sudoku has already been removed and there might be 1 or 2 other changes. This is of course done to remove any "deadweight", so that the forum will run as smooth as possible
  4. Excellent review and great pictures
  5. Check out the small FAQ at the bottom of this post;http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=51021 Also, if you are signed out of skype, it will show as "Not telling"
  6. Apparently this kind of dance is the new trend: tecktonic ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"> I do have a strong suspicion that this is what Ryannon probably is practicing these days

Nice song Thanks for sharing Personally, I'm listening to Tiesto - Search for Sunrise right now. Old album ( a couple of years) but still good DJ_Tiesto___In_Search_of_Sunrise_2.torrent
  8. I was just kidding around with, Ken, Maximilian But I will need a new programmer in my company soon, but that will be a full-time job
  9. How are your PHP and MySQL skills, Ken? I could use a new programmer on my team T
  10. The donations system is now fully operational again and should update correctly as the donations are...um...donated.
  11. Mezzanine, you are making some very valid and good points. That is also why I posted the reason why we need donations and as I have always said; donations and upgrades are volunteer
  12. 1. The donation system seem to have shut down after the three first donations I'll have to look into this. 2. Let me address the hosting setup/cost a bit more. I've been running replica forums now for almost 6 years (6 years in amonth from now). When I started up, all I needed was a small, shared hosting accoun that you can get virtually anywhere from a $5-10. Now, as the site grew, the need for a more powerful solution came, so the site was moved to a VPS (Virtual private server). I guess it was about this time I got my first letter from GAF and the ISP threatened to shut us down, as the site was hosted on US servers. Well, for a while, I played cat and mouse with GAF. Move the site from server to server until I got tired of this and started looking into offshore hosting. This is now 2-3 years ago. Found a pretty good host and had the site with them for a while. The problem with offshore hosts are the quality. If you try offshore hosting in the far east, where the copyright laws are pretty much non existant (or nobody cares) the connection to the US and europe are no good at all. Even though we've had 100MB dedicated setup on servers based in Asia, we never were able to reach satisfying speeds for the members. Same thing with equipment, support, etc. Extremely variable. So it's one thing finding an offshore host, but finding a good one is not easy at all. So mostly because of these factors and the fact that RWG is a site with more than 20.000.000 hits each month, we need a large server to be able to handle all the DB requests and the things that creates what you see on your screen right now. To be honest, I would love to be able to find safe, secure and good hosting somewhere else, at a lower price, but so far, I have not been able to do that. I swore to myself a long time ago that the days where I was paying for a forum out of my own pocket was long gone, as I did that for a long time, in the begining, when the cost was manageable. But when I spend the number of hours that I do on the forum, I don't want to pay anything out of my own pocket at the ned of the month, when the bills are due. An ideal situation would of course be that I would be able to make a buck or two from this "business". Some months I've been able to withdraw small amounts from my PP account and spent it on a couple of beers or a good bottle of red wine. I have even received donations from people who emanded that their donations should go towards a good bottle of wine/cognac or something else to drink
  13. No difference, Andy. Just a system I have to divide between the members who used the old (and now closed) PP accounts and those who have upgraded after that. Read more here: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=52237
  14. Well, it looks like this will be a regular post I'll have to make at the end of every month, since we still don't have our finances in order. So again we have to turn to our members for financiall support. I'll try and provide as much background info as possible, so that this post can be used as a reference for people who are interested in this info. First, let me get these things out of the way: The VIP membership has been renamed to RWG Supporter membership. Last month we got a lot of negative feedback on the VIP name, so we have changed it to something more "describing". As you will see, all the icons under your names have already been changed. Also, a lot of members have contacted me, wondering why we have 2 different membership levels; Supporter and RWG supporter (previous VIP member and VIP) The reason for this is for me to have a system to divide between the members who used the old, and now closed Paypal-accounts, and the ones that have upgraded after our PP accounts got closed. In the last 2 months we have gotten 75-76 new RWG Supporters, but unfortunately that is not enough. We need to get back to the levels we used to be at before PP closed my accounts; 400+ supporters. I'll explain why: RWG has kind of a special setup. We are utilizing 2 servers; 1 to hide our real server (A reverse proxy server) and 1 large dedicated server that is hosted offshore. Now don't ask me why, but quality offshore hosting is extremely expensive and har to find. Dedicated servers hosted offshore have a much higher price than regular server, not to mention RAM and bandwith. RWG has this month used close to 300GB of bandwidth and we are paying a hefty sum for this. In total, we pay around €900 every month for our server setup, including software licenses + overuse of bandwidth. 90% of the members have used the option to upgrade to a 1 year RWG Supporter membership, and we get €2.5 pr. member, pr. month (There are also a few members who pay by the month and even fewer who pay every 6 months). If you do the math on this, you will see that we are still missing quite a lot to pay our server rent. So every month, until we have enough RWG Supporter to cover this on a monthly basis, I will probably have to post a topic like this. What's new this month, is that we have a new donation system, for those of you who wish to donate; http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?autocom=donate Here you will clearly see the donations we have received, this months goal and who have donated (donations can be made anonymously also). So if you want to donate to the forum, please use the link above. And you are allowed to send a donation, even if we have reached our goal. If you want to upgrade your membership to a RWG Supporter membership, that's even better. Here is the info about upgrading your membership, taken from our brand new WIKI(Yeah, the WIKI is something new. More about that later and in another post): http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?autoco...ticle&id=29 Now, I've said this before and I'll say it again: Upgrading or donating is volunteer, but we need the money to be able to keep this great community alive, so please upgrade your membership or donate a couple of bucks if you like this place. I know there are members here with strong opinions about members who are not RWG Supporters, but if you are going to start posting about how members should upgrade, please do so in a friendly and polite way. And as always, we have many, MANY members who contribute so many things to this board, both by sharing their posts with us and making donations (donations will not upgrade you membership!), so all members are not "non-contributing" members! Finally, the links, one more time; Donate http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?autocom=donate Upgrade E-mail the admin for complete info. Again, thank you all for your continued support
  15. There will be a post about this in 20-30 minutes in the general discussion area
  16. On a completely different note, why hasn't Fordzilla found his way here?
  17. All this means is that Ziggy has turned of his PM and you have to e-mail him to contact him.
  18. Beers, on the other hand....
  19. The D40 is a great camera. Unfortunately it does not have the "regular" in-house focus engines, so if you are going to buy extra lenses, these will cost more, because the focus engine is built into the lens. I'd recommend you to take a look at a Canon in the same price range (not sure what model it is. Either D300, D350 or D400) I bought a new camera about 6 months ago and looked at the same cameras you are looking at now. I ended up with a Canon D400 and I am extremely satisfied with it
