You should be rubbing in The 'Maple Laughs' hockey team with your boyfriend....if he's a hockey nut in TO Ontario gets a Civic Holiday in August. But this Family day was a Liberal brainstorming idea from the PM to make nice with the public after his last win. And yes it's the first time they are celebrating it.

Hi Vicky. Only Ontario has Family Day this Monday and it's turned into a nightmare for McGinty. Because of union contracts, and large companywhcih already have many paid holidays, it's estimated that only 40% will be off to enjoy the Family Day. As usual Mc has stated we need to rethink/rework this better for next year!

But indeed the above noted information that was listed on three websites(the one that was copied in this thread is still out there and is a direct copy/paste from one of our respected dealer's website) It has since been removed from his site. I too read it and was asking myself ....can this be for real? I think we all know that rough treatment of any of these watches can lead but to problems down the road. Maybe it's a marketing strategy on their part. When the watch gets 'wacked' ala Tony Soprano... we buy another to replace it!

I tend to agree with you. The hype jacks the price. But the reviews by folks like By-Tor are very well done and very much appreciated. We all know how much politicians are influenced by payola. Let's hope the writeups/reviews are not . This I put out there (with all due respect) as just food for thought...........

Bingo. It's the hype and the dope they are hooked on. Members themselves call it 'their addiction'. We all know what addicts will pay for their 'stuff.fix'....the sky's the limit.

Still, I have been able to shop around and find good (if not better quality) reps at lower prices from reputable dealers other than the Cartel. Nicely put. The Cartel can be avoided fpr the same products at a lesser price. Eventually as thelr business begins to stagnate (because of the economic downturn in the USA) prices they ask will drop.
