  1. I think this looks really goood, don't you think? take a look
  2. ... and which is this auction site??
  3. Removing the bracelet this evening, have seen that the case has a central hole just like the cheap asian planet oceans to fix the rubber band with central pin to the case. So I've ordered a replica rubber band to see how it looks. In the mean time I went shopping to the mall and discovered the Hirsch Leonardo Mobile (rubberized leather with curved ends) What do you think? I think it gives an invisible touch to the watch.
  4. My dear friends. This is Miguel and I'm proud to introduce you my new Seamaster GMT. I was green in envy reading By-Tor's review of this model that I've hunted high and low to get a decent budget-quality ratio. This beauty was bought at ioffer to a new seller called "ttwatchstore". Finally I got it at 90$ (EMS shipping included), paid for it last saturday and this morning was in my hands. Due to the euro supremacy the final amount changed gives 57.13 euros. A real bargain, isn't it? The overall look of the watch is very good, obviously the main flaw is the misaligned bezel. I've tried many ways to dismantle it but without success, the bezel seems somehow welded to the case. I don't want to force it. Any hint or trick to solve this matter? The dial is crisp with the mandatory white square surrounding the DW, but something I don't like much is the greenish tone of the markers. The DW is also correct, white over black backgroud. The font is correct as well, not squared as ETA but decent. The movement is the mainly known asian 21 faux GMT. The hand stack is correct, the GMT hand is below the hour hand and can be set independently turning the crown up in the date change position. The bracelet is lightweight compared to the weight of the case. I'd say that the total weight can be at 200 grs. more or less. The clasp is laser etched instead of engraved, but that's a thing that I can live on. Maybe someday I'll switch the bracelet to a Bond one, just like By-Tor did. I leave here some shots I've just taken. Hope you enjoyed this little review.
  5. Morning ladies and gentlemen. I'm sick of buying replica rubber 20 mm. straps for my 4th gen. planet ocean. They all carry the disgusting central piece of steel. I've tried thousands ways to make 'em fit but no success, and I don't want to ruin the watch superglueing the band to the lugs. Isn't anybody going to make a 1:1 20 mm. strap just like the one in 22 mm? The original rubber strap is way too overpriced, it costs as much as the watch itself.
  6. I'll do the same, but first I want to take it to my watchsmith and put it on the pressure tester to see how it behaves. I think I'm done with Omegas for the moment, I have three. My next acquisitions will be the SMP Chrono and a decent SMP GMT 2004 version but that'll be in a year's time. I want to explore the IWC realms, very interested in a black aquatimer 2000.
  7. Hi Antomarty!! Have you "waterproofed" it?
  8. Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Does anybody know where to buy a rubber replica strap for a SOSF? I've found that gens are way too overpriced and I'm not willing to spend 150$ on a black one. Thanks in advance.
  9. OMG, sure looking good watch. I'm beginning to wonder if I've been right getting the right black one.
  10. Good morning ladies and gentlemen. Does anybody know where can i find a very decent replica of this masterpiece?? Thanks for caring and reading.
  11. It's really a shame Francisco. Looks like only three watches have arrived as they were supposed to. I have a good one, Antomarty has another and I've seen a stunning electric blue one. Ryaku has the exact version than me but with dings and scratches. One las thing, my bracelet has fallen to pieces, I was resizing it to add the mid link and one end link that was poorly attached to the bracelet has fallen off. I've put a spare Bond bracelet, meanwhile I don't know what to do with the broken pin.
  12. Francisco, Do you know a place here in Spain or do you have to send the watch overseas to relume it?.
  13. Good evening gentlemen. Here they are. The photos you've been waiting for, sorry if the quality's not good but I've had to resize them in order to upload correctly.
  14. I can forward a first image of the watch. Don't pay attention to the date wheel, I've been passing days to see if the dw has the correct fonts and so it seems. To answer the lume question above, the major lume is on the hands, the dial and pearl have bare lume that last for a few minutes after putting it a minute or so under a halogen lamp. Regarding the AR coating I'll say there's no AR at all inside or outside the crystal as there're glares from every angle. I believe the gen 2254.50 doesn't carry it as well. I haven't opened the watch yet, but the date changes exactly at 12:00 am, the fonts are ETA correct so I'd say that there's ETA inside the watch. I'd say that's mirror image comparing it to the photos at ioffer!!!
  15. Hi guys. This is Miguel from Spain. Just joined to the forum thanks to Martin from Corsica who introduced me. Very pleased to be among watch lovers like me. I'm writing to calm those who have bought the 2254.50 from Angela Blackshear at ioffer. We weren't wrong when we decided to risk our money investing in a "who knows" watch. I'm totally pleased with the timepiece, it's replicated to the finest detail, even the bracelet has the mid-link that is very rare to find in the "speedy" style replica bracelets. Sorry I'm not able to post any image by now, but I'll try in the next few days. The overall layout of the watch is awesome. The mandatory white cardboard, red box, the instructions manual, pictograms, warranty card and omega chronometer hang tag. When I sold my 2254.50 rep two years ago I felt very upset because I knew that the watch that was leaving was a very-hard-to-find-again-watch. I have spent two years and a few euros trying to get the holy graal once again and at the third try the master is resting on my right wrist and will stay there for good because I have no intention to sell or trade it. Once again, my pleasure to be here at this forum and hope this will be the first of many posts here.
