Because it costs too much to replace the movement via them and they wont repair it.
That's why I'm hoping someone will have one of these movements to sell maybe?
Cheers
There is no way to repair the LCD on these movements, so you need a entire new one. Unfortunatly, if you want this repaired, you have no other choice other then send it to Breitling.

Wondering if you changed the battery or if you took it to a watchsmith? My advice would be to first take it to a decent watchsmith and have him check the battery. Possibly the one you put in is dead as well? Seems odd that both the display and the quartz movement would die at the same time, so it would seem that it is simply not getting power. So the most probable cause is still likely a dead battery, improper installation, or corrosion on the battery terminal. If there is in fact an issue with the movement, I'd still take it to Breitling for an estimate, as doing any kind of cheap fix will simply devalue the watch to just about nothing.
+1... mis-installing a bettery is very easy onquartz watches. I have seen more guys spend more money on having their quartz watch fixed because they had some guy in the "mall" replace their watch battery. Even though the movement is quartz and runs of a battery, they can be just tempermental as a mechanical time piece.

Hublot is part of LVHM, not Swatch. Just another one of J-C Bivers arrogant moves!

Look at the left side of that case... Finally, Breitling are starting to understand that unique Millesimation numbers and 'Limited Editions' move pieces... It's just a 7753 Navi with a Montbrillant dial, it's not really a new technical achievement. The Hour/Min/Sec/Day/Date/Month/24hr/3 register Chrono 7751 is an insanely more awesome movement... Nice finish on this movement though...I suppose there's not really much to improve on perfection... )
This is Breitlings B01 movement, not a 7753. Breitling has all kinds of LE models out now using this movement. I wish they would get on with using this movement for which is was developed for. They just released the B04 which is a modified B01 movement with GMT function.
I do really like this piece, but Breitling is just now doing what they did with the DLC...drop it in a already produced model and call it a LE.

This guy is my hero!
I would let Breitling put their name on my canopy if they wanted to buy me one!

Hands down the Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon!!! Best rep ever!
-
The rep Grahams in several areas are better then the Gens. I have seen gens with dirt and pin holes in the dial and lume markers! All of my rep Grahams have been of excellent quality. Only issue was a winding gear had some missing teeth, but I solved this during a full service...This could have been on any watch with the movement, just happened to be in a Graham. The A7750 run fine once serviced fully.

I know John Travolta but who is this guy
THE GREAT ONE!
I prefer Yves Rossy!

Been out for over a year.

"Perfect" only comes in the form of a Gen. Reps are "Close Enough".

Are you saying that the Asian 7750 can be quickset at any hour without fear of damage, unlike the genuine Swiss piece? Very nice.
ONLY if the A7750 has the date jump wheel shown in the picture. If it has the solid brass kind used in older A7750 and ETA movements, then you will damage the works.

Nice job S. Now go Rodico the hell of of the movements shiney parts to get all the finger prints off.
-
Nice job!
Pssst...You did not have to remove the DW and all the mechanics to get to the keyless works. That is the issue with using the SwissLab site...it shows you full breakdown of the movement for a full service. You could have just removed the 3 screws for the Date Bridge and removed the entire assembly putting you right at the keyless works.
Also, notice your Date Jump wheel...ETA really needs to use this style. It allows you to quick change the date at anytime you wish!

My 195 done by Z. My Fav. Pam!

Trying to figure out what movement is in this...looks like Faux chronos, and possibly a quartz?
-
More character, and the correct shade of gray per the gen...
Very true!
-
Looks horrible...you should send it to me right away!
Very nice...really!

Any local watchsmith should be able to handle this with no issue.

I can not say enough about Z's PVD. Did it on my 005. It is hands down phenominal. May not be as durable as DLC, but has more character I feel.

S,
You are not getting power to the escapement. Needs to be put under a loop to see what is going on. Could be as simple as piece of lint or require a full service.
To release the main spring tension, hold the crown in one hand and in the other, use tweezers to release the Click. Let the crown slowly rotate between your fingers.

Beautiful!

Miss your Vette??? Why???? Did you sell your C5???
Got rid of the Z06, to make room in the stable. The GT500 is more acceptable at work too. Downside of working for the Blue Oval I guess.
Tweezers, Hand Removers, and Screwdrivers?

For sure take a look at what Offshore as to offer.
Really it all depends on how much you are going to get into. For doing what you are talking about you need little. If you ever think you are going to get into working on movements, then you need to spend the money on good tools.
Screwdrivers - What Offshore has will work for what you need. The biggest issue with screwdriver sets out there for cheap is the blades are as soft as creamcheese. You should only needs flat blades.
Tweezers - #2 is all you need. Anything above this, is too fine and has special purpose like working on hair springs or very small parts. Most work is done with #1/#2.
Hand Remover - Presto removers work great for most 3-Hand watches. They can be very difficult to use with the samller chrono hands especially if the hand is pressed to close to the dial. You will need a set of hand levers or small screwdrivers.
What ever the tools you get, doing your first movement swap on a watch you enjoy and don't went to ruin, would not my recommendation. You really need to know what you are doing, and it is very easy to do a lot of damage.
Best of luck!
