Just happened to be at Tourneau in Scottsdale latest week and they had a used UR-202 in their case. After I cleared the drool off of it, I could truly appreciate the level of engineering and watch making that goes into these pieces. Absolutely stunning! Thanks for sharing Mike…now I have to go start returning pop cans and start saving for one of these.

AT&T U-verse and love it. Have not had one issue in the 2+ years I have had it. Have my cell service with AT&T as well. Love how I can set up my DVR through my phone and then watch what I DVR'd on my phone!

Might be worth buying a new one...never a good thing to try to work on a watch yourself if you are untrained...especially when it comes to anything regarding the hair spring/balance assembly. Depending on how bad you mucked things up, it could get expensive real quick. It takes a skilled hand to straighten out a hair spring that has been bent to hell and back.

Anytime! Glad you narrowed it down and got her fixed.
I have learned to look for "spring back" on the 60sec. Chono Wheel after running across a couple movements where the jewel setting on the Automatic Winding Bridge was tweeked. It was out of place just enough to allow for no up/down movement on the chrono wheel, causing either complete lock up with the chrono's active or the sweep second hand not to run smooth. One more thing for you to look for!

Congrats on 10K posts Andy!

Let us know what you find out...Only other thing I can think of is the nylon bushing is okay, is the tilting pinions engagement...but it sounds like you may have tried that already.
-
Check to make sure both the jewels are not varnished up... Try hitting them with a little One Dip and sharpened Pith Wood.

Hand pressers with "non-marring" tips. You might find some for sale in the "Tools and Parts" section...
+1...the proper tool. The worng tool may cause very bad things to happen.

This one....or any RM piece really. Of course now that I think about it, if I had all the money is the World, I would have some thing built for me...a nice one off piece.

Put me down for one.

Check your PM...Case back off...but you have a issue.

My AD, just got a black face on SS in stock...Beautiful piece! If it was 46mm instead of 43mm, I would be wearing it today.

guys generally make observations about color, especially blue, by viewing their favorite watch at an AD where the watch face is bombarded with quartz lights causing it to look completely different. I have a rep blue Skyland and notice that the dial color shifts greatly based on the lighting at any particular time. Sometimes it looks almost black, other time its a very vibrant blue. I am fairly positive that if a Breitling expert were to examine my Skyland, the color of the dial would not be a factor in is determination whether the watch is rep or gen. I don't think that we can make any assumptions about the dial color until we see a side by side pic with equal lighting. Even then, the gen and rep have different colored AR coatings, which would probably make the dials appear to be a different color even if they were identical.
Bottom line, if you like the blue, go for it. The exact shade of color is not that far off that you will ever be called out on it.
+1...If you like blue then get blue...who is going to know if it is gen blue or not? It is a rep after all...if you want perfect, then gen is the only way to go.

I also looked at the RCTritec site and didn't see where to order it from them. Maybe I missed it on their site. Thanks again!!!
There is no order form. You have to e-mail them directly and ask if you can buy it. RCTritec seems to be really limiting to who they sell their product too. My buddy who has just about every watch maker certification in the World, recently tried purchasing from them and never got a response after multiple tries. I think if you are not a established customer, they may blow you off.

The only difference between that and a gen are the lume dots. Otherwise, it's as good as a gen.
Have you ever held a gen? No contest! The rep does not come close to the gen relative to dial appearance, bracelet quality and over all finish. The rep is very nice, but the gen is just that much more.
SOSF is hands down one of the best bang for the buck watches you can buy when buying from the secondary market. The amazing thing is…you can actually get more for it on a trade in then what you paid granted it is in good shape.

Watch sent! I just ordered a breitling case opening die for a good price. Hopefully it will solve my future issues.
Make sure you got the right size...There are 2 of them, not including the Bentley ones.

Not a problem man.

I stand corrected Thanks for the links btocamelo. Only issue now: is it worth buying that Gevril Chrono for $750.00 just for the movement?
And will the sub-dial spacing work? Anyone have a spec sheet on a 2824 with a DD Chrono module mounted on it?
Have done a ton of research on DD Modules...no luck with finding much data if anything. Can use a scaling equation, if you know the size of the Gevril dial.

The Urwerk(er-verk) above is actually very reasonable ,there Is a used one on the bay for $99.000. Maybe I'll bid on It
Alright so I will be bidding against someone I know! I guy from The D as well!
-
A better video...Look at how the "running seconds" belt ticks...And I thought my Pam 6497's had loud ticks!
-
Urwerk for sure! Very impressive from concept to execution. Just very creative in the different methods in showing time.
-
If only I could find a gen Breitling B36 movement that would solve my issue, but they are very, very difficult to source.
Just source the Gen watch!

Love It
Thought to same thing when I first saw pictures...however in person it is not as impressive as the pic above.
My watches got new shoes!

No wonder I have not gotten anything from the Bear...he has been too tied up with your stuff. Love the strap on the Santos! As always BB work is top notch!
