  1. No pics, but I have the same one. The best out of the box and gets the most wrist time, my favourate... great pics BTW. thanks.
  2. The whole thing sounds a little fishy to me.. I would just forget it and walk away.
  3. And the yellow accent on the inner bezel & the minute yellow hand does NOT glow, in another words, no lume on them. I don't know how the Gen is but I nevertheless I don't understand the purpose of just one lumed hand?
  4. I got the same watch, black dial, asia 21j from Joshua about a month ago. Personally I never noticed the so called noisy rotor. it keeps perfect time and running great. Absolutely no problem.
  5. Mickey, Thanks for the offer, but I doubt any body from the US will give you their DOB, E-Mail, Full Address..... for $20-30. Not in this day and age. Sorry buddy.
  6. Thanks bbell6, this definately helps. I'm down for ONE 1A. thanks
  7. Simply, Exceptional work. I'm sure the owner would wear this one very proudly. I'll be sending my Slevin with Yellow accent that I asked you a while back and hope you can do something with it as well while serviceing at the same time.
  8. For the Noobes, like me, is it possible to post some pictures of the gens that we are talking about? I'm new to PAMs. I have one and absolutely love it but still not familier with all the 1A/2A/1B/002/005 etc. If it is at all possible, it would be greately appreciated and will also spur-up the demand and interest after looking at the pics. thanks
  9. I obviously don't know much about the watches, definately nothing about the lumes, except that they glow in the dar. I did not care if the glow will be green, yellow or whilte. As long as it can be applied to this and the accent would still look yellow and it can glow (any color). Would have been gread but looks like it is not possible. How about the minute hand at least I can tell the time, right now I can only tell that it's now 2 past something.
  10. We have seen some greate lume jobs recently posted by one of the members and I want to point out my favourate. I bought this watch (not quite same but simillar), as I like the yellow accent thinkging, it would lume like the cousteau above, but it does notl. Not even the yellow minute hand, but the hour hand does glow. (I don't understand why would they make one of the hand glow and not the other... what's the use). it does lume at the bottom of those stick markers and all the chrono hands. Any way, my question is, if it is possible to apply the lume to this one so the yellow accent and the minute hand would glow as well. other than that I love this watch. it would be great, the best of both worlds if this can be done. I'm hoping some of you guys can have answer to this. This is the watch I have and hope to have it lumed like the one above... Is it possible?
  11. The simple things that make the HUUUUGE different. Like a good AR coating, and good Lume. The fact that these can be done and if done in the first place, don't make that much difference in price whick I don't mind paying little more for these but they make huge difference.
  12. This one is my favorite. One question for you guys, specially for The Zigmeister: I bought this watch, as I like the yellow accent thinkging it would lume like the cousteau above, but it does notl. Not even the yellow minute hand, but the hour hand does glow. (I don't understand why would they make one of the hand glow and not the other... what's the point). it does lume at the bottom of those stick markers and all the chrono hands. Any way, my question is, if it is possible to apply the lume to this one so the yellow accent and the minute hand would glow as well. other than that I love this watch. it would be great, the best of both worlds if this can be done. I'm hoping some of you guys can have answer to this.
  13. Question about new Aquatimer 371918: How is the lume on this one. Does the yellow accent on the bezel lume along with the yellow outer number marking on the bezel and the minute hand?? For that matter, how is the lume job on the white accent bezel model (I think its iw371928) I remember seening a picture on the web, the white accented bezel was glowing very bright with accent and the bezel number markings as well. I wonder if the same is true for the yellow accent bezel (pictured below) if it does not lume, what's the point of having just one hand (the hour hand) lume and not the minute hand? Does any body have seen or bought this model. thanks
  14. I just got delivery of PAM 063 GMT from Josh last week. Awsome watch, my first PAM but I can already safely say, won't be my last although I'm having some issues with it. If I wind it manually, or if I wear it the watch runs fine and keeping perfect time for as long as it runs.. that's where the problem starts. If I stay steady for more than about two hrs, it stops ticking. I have been wearing the watch for last couple of days. First day I manualy (gently) wound it and it ran for about 18 hrs or so. During the night it stopped about 4:00am. Yesterday when I woke up it was stopped I did not wind the watch this time but gave it a gentel but good shake. It started running right away and I wore it whole day, running fine so far. in the afternoon, I left the watch at my desk drawer at work, just to check, about 3 hrs. later it was stopped. A gentle shake and started running again. I all indicate to the auto winder problem and I have heard that there might be a loose roter. But how do you open the watch to access the roter. I saw somewhere on the internet that there is a special tool (a special wrench) to open that back. Where can you buy something like that. Anything else I can do to save it a long trip back if it comes down to it. I haven't contacted Josh yet but I'll soon. Any help, comments would be greatly appreciated. Am I too far off or about right on my diagnostics. Here is the tool I was refering to, but it costs about $90.00 Ouch!!!
