I saw some smoke coming from the WestCoast T, was it you and Chinkie drinking the liquor and starting a barbeque?
nice job m8

hi m8, if you need any help just pm me
-
I thought most of Reg's watches are A21j automatics orquarz versions, since these movements are really cheap, a movementswap can be done in an hour.
-
really amazing job you did on both......hope I will have the nerve to do this myself
-
Same here, IE7 and IE8 don't remember.....but Safari on my Imac does..???

Good tip Cats, they only cost about #2 a piece...only thing, the longer you use them the more the colortemp will shift to 3500, will become more red/yellow
What also helps using daylight lamps.
I got some which have a colour temp. of 5600K.
If you have enough light with that colr temp there is no need to cahnge the white balanse
Carpe Diem

+1 Ubi, and not only here........Having my own studio, I frequently get mails with.........What is the price of....that item?

+1....... the stuff can leave a smudge on your crystal that you will have to clean with lenscleaner or white spirit...depends on what kind of coating is on your crystal.
When using canned air, be very careful as the checmicals from the compressed air can actually add a film to the surface if not careful.
As for removing scratches on the plexi- If they are on the exterior surface, just leave them be. You'll accumulate more scratches as time goes on no matter how careful you are. For vintage, these superficial imprfections only add to the character...

Thanks guys, Lani, good to see you are back m8, hope you are fully recovered
No gen straps.I have one and it is darker brown, gonna put it on the Spitfire and do a gen dialswap, the double stitching near the lugs is tighter then the rep but these repstraps look pretty good.
Polo did a great job finding me these beauties..more pics to follow................
