Thanks for the help guys. I've bought a couple of reps from thailand myself, and nope, i didn't go to maria's stall either. I've go as many pictures of the models i am interested in as well, so i was comparing the reps to the pictures i had. The next step for me is to learn more about the movements so in any case that i can look at the internals, i'll probably be able to differentiate a good rep from a bad rep.

Hi guys, I'm new to rep watches. I've been reading a little on the watch markets in GuangZhou. How do you tell which are the high quality reps from the crap/low quality reps? I mean apart from comparing the external looks of the watch. Also how would i know if the watch comes with a swiss eta or an asian moviement (the sellers could be lying when they say it's swiss)?
