  6. Many thanks for the compliments! The custom dials are nothing compared to those that you see in the forums, but i must say that trying to make those did give me a lot of enjoyment. Best part about it is that you can try make them with very little cost. I'll definitely join in the gatherings as much as i can. It's been fun

  14. umm... Samurai to me is like a watch store. Man, the number of watches that he buys and sometimes sell each week. And mwee, you have got some really cool parts. (check out the gen BP parts!) I'm interested to see the new lume powders that you guys are getting or using. I am only using nocti, so anything new is always welcome. Looking forward to see all your collections and learning from everyone as well. Cheers

  18. Hi guys, I read that molnija movements can be used as a straight drop in replacement for the 6497. I see lots of molnija pockets watches on Ebay, both new and old. How would i know if the movements in these pocket watches can be used? Any movement numbers or all the molnija movements can be used?
  19. guess it's confirmed then. Thanks ubi
  20. Hi guys, i recently bought a 6497 for a project, but the crown stem doesn't insert fully into the movement or doesn't engage the movement. I am told that the crown stem is broken. Any second opinions? Help is very much appreciated. Thanks http://i402.photobucket.com/albums/pp102/fooc2/IMG_1530.jpg http://i402.photobucket.com/albums/pp102/fooc2/IMG_1532.jpg

  23. Hi guys, need your help. I'm trying to mod the cannon pin of an Asian 6497. I've gone through the cannon pin mod tutorials and managed to get to the actual removal of the cannon pin. How do i remove the cannon pin? I have a presto style hand remover and it doesn't remove the cannon pin. The area for the remover to grip is too small and the hand remover doesn't fit under the cannon pin gears due to size. Help?
