  1. I can not figure out what is missing and I own a BCE V3????? Ahhh the 1:00 area of the bezel marks are missing.
  2. Based on your pics you should be able to take the piece of the stem that is stuck in your keyless works out without taking the watch movment apart. You will need some tweezers to do it but most likley you should have enough exposed to get it out. Who ever your friend is that you let borrow your watch owes you a repair bill. This could not break without him messing with the crown. Maybe he didnt damage the movment in the process. Does the watch still run at all?
  3. Yea, if you push the release to hard it will mess up the KW. On the A21 you have to push very gently while pulling on the stem.
  4. Is it the entire stem and crown together? Or is it part of the stem with the crown attached? If it is the entire stem, the stem will taper down and look smaller on the end. If it is the same size with threads then it broke off. One thing you have to be very careful of when removing the stem is damaging the keyless works.
  5. What he said.... At first I thought mine didnt work on my V3 BCE is very stiff but does work.
  6. While I have some insight into the whole "security" thing I will say this about which watch..... I would go with a plain SS Datejust. I would stay away from any of the sport models that looks like a "tool watch". Sometimes no matter what you do people always seem to think certain people are cops. I am former LEO and I get this all the time and I havent been a cop in over 10 years. I am actually an Account Executive but people are always asking me if I am a cop. Recently with all the election stuff that happen I went to a few political events and people thought I was Secret Service so getting through the big crowds was easy...lol OK back to the watch...Get yourself a nice all SS DJ and I think you would fit in fine. BTW anytime you wear a Rolex people assume it is fake...lol However in the right place people would not think that, like at your high end functions. Also most of these "hig end" folks would not know the difference unless they were in the watch business. Most rich folks just wear the watch they dont know all the different models and such. Only us repgeeks and true watch nuts really know the difference. 98% of the people on the street could not tell if it was fake or not even if they did own a Rolex.
  7. Some GREAT info on the A7750 MOVMENT....... http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=78016 http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...hl=care+feeding
  8. I just got a BCE V3 and let me say this is one of the best OTB Reps hands down. One thing to keep in mind about any automatic watch is that all will need servicing at one time or another if you want to keep the same watch forever. About the A7750 Movment.... The newer version seems to be much less problematic than the older version. I also think some of the "bad rap" comes from the Rolex Daytona models where they altered the movement to have the seconds at six. BCE's have the seconds at 3 just like the movemnt is supposed to have. 1. Never set the date (with the date function) when the hands are between 10:00 pm and 2:00 am or somewhere about that. You can search for the exact times. 2. DO NOT mess with the chronos a lot. 3. NEVER reset the chrono back to zero with it running. STOP it first then reset it. These are just a few things I know right off. Maybe some others can chime in.
  9. Depending on condition it should bring around $700 to $1000.00 USD
  10. "Also the right breitling wing is off" What do you mean it is off? What are you paying for the watch? As far as the watch itself and AR. I am not a huge fan myself of AR. It looks great as long as it dosent get scratched and it gets finger prints on it real easy. Matter of fact on one of my last Gen B watches I had my watchmaker remive the AR because the finger prints drove me crazy and I scratched it soon after buying it.
