Dont know...all about that negative attitude about U-Boat... I will buy probably U-Boat quartz, I need one good solid "hard work watch" I have a big wrist, so ~50mm watch is quite ok for me. U -Boat has a "clean" looking dial, it`s simple, quartz movement is bullet proof, I like that.

again.. for me only reason not to buy is this model are those RG numeral markers, they are too red. Gen Dewitt are with yellow-gold markers. But generally it is nice rep DeWitt indeed

I need one " dress watch ". Favorite is Brequet, but look`s like there is nothing to buy... rep`s are not very accurate 39-40mm is min. case size for me under that it will be too small.

DeWitt Academia Chronographe 1940 rep with white dial was one of my favorite rep. Thought I will buy this next. Movement is good, looks like gen. But today I don`t think that I will buy this rep Academia Chronographe 1940. Main reasons.Gen dial is silver( white gold) , rep dial is white ( ok, silver white), but dial colour is not like gen. Rep second hand has a red end, gen hands are all dark. Rep sub-dials are smooth, gen has a waved sub-dials. If sub-dials will be waved in the future and dial are silver , then probably I will buy. Rep ca 100-150 usd, will not buy, usually quality is crap ca 250usd, will not think highly. If I like it and movement is ok to me I will buy. ca 300 usd pherhaps I will buy. ca 350-400 usd, I have to study and think about it. If it is very close to gen I will buy if not then probably no 500 usd and up, usuallly I am not buyer average price is probably ca 200-300 usd

Yes I know it is fantasy watch, but for my it is ok, 99% does not know that. At least in my country I just love that CF dial. If I can find 46mm B&R Phantom ( all black), then I will buy that probably and sell this with CF dial

Far from that, it has a CF dial and blue numers but no "special edition" writings and CF dial was available only for black case, not for steel. But I kind of like this watch. Nice looking watch.

Bad experience with Fedex. Order watch from one of good reputation dealer from RWG and I ask, if possible send this watch as gift and not use Fedex. Watch was sent as normal item( not as gift) and invoice was included too. Package was wrapped are as a toy but it did not help. I got a unfeeling phone call from custom, they ask why it is hidden like smuggling trade and etc etc...long story At the end I lost watch ( was destroy`d by custom) and my money. Sry my poor english.
