Lads and Ladettes, I have a SSD and since two days ago, the balance of the ETA 2824-2 started making the "balancing" noise. is it normal? The watch works fine and everything but it seems that the noise gets louder and louder. Thanks for your help. Cheers !

I'm currently wearing a poor quality Rep of a Sub. The question " Hey, did you get a new watch" was followed by "It's a Rep". "Yeah that's what I thought." ensued. Well. Really it looks awefully wrong. Need at least a SSD to look gen and then say "No mate, it's a Rep" "Oh what?, REALLY?" LOL! The next answer as to whether or not you say "YAY" or "NAY" is down to you!

Dear All, Just a thought that crossed my mind the other day: as a newbie I think coming to this forum is coming to the right one. It is the right one as long as you understand what is meant by the fellow forumist. We tend to use a lot of initials and, may I say, they are quite difficult to understand for newbies. Wouldn't it be a great idea to have a gloassry for newbies just to make them feel better? I start: SSD: Super Sea Dweller : Considered to be a high grade Rep of Sea Dweller AR Coating: Anti Reflective Coating : Coatings which are applied to the crystal to avoid reflection and flare, to ease the time reading. Hi Lads, A total newbie in the Reps World. Well... Had a REAL rep sub (which was sold to me as being a genuine one...) for three years. The one issue was that it doesn't look real, the wristband end bits were hollow ,the magnifier useless, the pearl fell off, the rehaut inexistant, the dial not in line with the hour marking, ... All in all, a bad rep. I was thinking of replacing that one with a new Rep but I have several questions: - I'm in the UK and I was wondering if the purchase of reps are safe in terms of law and regulations and customs. - I found some internet websites and I was wondering if they are really safe (without scammers) - I wanted to know where you can get the best sea dweller Rep and Submariner LV Rep? I do not have a budget for the mo, but I would like one which is 100% functional and reliable as well as an accurate genuine look. Thanks in advance for your answers ! Cheerio
