I changed straps on mine as well to AP bands. NO conversion needed No buffing or filing.
The plots already fit the watch. Obvious since it came on it. Its just a matter of replacing with the new strap.
Just get one and enjoy...
Or better yet. go to an AD... if you can get near one. Strap it on... feel it... enjoy it...
Then... Buy It!!!!

The DR is good looking but... waaaaayyy off on the dial.
Its still a "Bamon" in dial accuracy even if they did fix the back
spelling.
Rubberclad is much better also the Jaun Montoya is closer to gen.
Make sure to check the strap right near the lugs. In one of your pictures, the strap clearly looks cracked/spit.
Its the sideview pushers up picture. Look at the lug to the right. The screw.. and the crack in the rubber strap!

Really comes down to who is wearing it.
